So microwave is now on the app store. Though wave was just announced to be shut down, I had the app done already (though I was waiting for a wave server update so thread continuation and attachment uploading would work), and I just published it anyway. So here it is. Grab it while wave still works :). It supports offline, so you can cache some waves and read them on-the-go.
Congratulations! Microwave is the first really useable Wave client that is build on the new Google Wave API. I worked on it too for my app Waveboard, but since Google seems to drop Wave I discontinued the work on it.
Sadly I found a bug that makes the version on my iPhone 3GS unusable. It seems the WebView is not sized correctly. See this screenshot for details: http://skitch.com/holtwick/due2x/screenshot-2010.08.23-21.27.01
Odd. I can’t seem to reproduce it on the iPhone 4 or the simulator.
I have the problem on iPhone 3GS and iPhone4 with iOS 4.0.2. But I hope that is just a problem on my devices. On iPad everything works fine.
